day four

This morning, we balanced - or failed to balance - a marble in a tube.  This afternoon, we ran an obstacle course.  Can't say much about this morning, since I hadn't even finished my tea.
As for this afternoon, all I had to do was stand with my hands above my head. not much to say about that either.

Can't say anything better about teamwork, the Drunk Unkles hits it all. Yeah, Team!

Winning Friends and Influencing people

Overall, I enjoyed Mary's presentation today and look forward to using many of those principles at work.  But I will avoid the "compliment sandwich" - anything that needs to be fixed should be conveyed clearly (you can still be kind about it).

Group work - just like cooking

I'm looking forward to the group work - working on projects can seem a lot like cooking.  If you use just one or two spices, and cook the same thing all the time, you get bored.  I've been in a rut lately, and I know my teammates will add some much needed spice.
